Very few can say they were "Destined for Purpose", but, Elder Angelisa is one whom Godbrought forth to fulfill such words. Through her mere presence, peopleare comforted and find the confidence to believe that what God has spoken will come to pass. From her "room-filling" smile to her "quiet spirit", Pastor is truly a gift to the kingdom.We are excited to have her as a part of our leadership.
Elder Angelisa Truesdale was born in Baltimore Md. She attended the Baltimore City Public School System. At a very early age the Lord has gifted her by being able to practice hairstyling by seeing a style and being able to complete it. Right after High School she attended Gordon Phillips School of Cosmetology, and successfully become a licensed cosmetologist. Pastor Angelisa always believed that God gifted her in this area to help women "find their authentic self" and to give them the strength to become anything they desire to be. Because of this gifting, she has been able to further her work in cosmetology in salons along the East Coast. .
Growing up in church has afforded Pastor Angelisa the opportunity to attend and work with some great ministries. She started singing in choirs at the age of 5 which launched her journey through the ranks of ministry.
In the year of 2000, Pastor angelisa fully acknowledged her call to ministry and began the process of fulfilling the call. She has served as Youth Pastor, Youth Praise & Worship Leader and Choir Director. She patiently and diligently journeyed through the ranks from a licensed Minister to Ordained Deacon.
In July, 2006, Pastor Angelisa was officially ordained an Elder in the Lord's Church by Bishop Robert M. Taylor, Presiding Prelate of International Covenant Ministries Fellowship, Inc. In October, 2006, she was installed as Pastor and continues to work side by side with her husband as they continue to build ministry.
She is currently Co-Founder and Set Gift of Redeeming Oil Ministries Inc. along with her husband Elder Derrick Truesdale. She also works in the Catholic School System as a Teacher Assistant. Pastor Angelisa is the mother of 3 children Briniti, Brian Jr. and Joshua Boyd (from a previous marriage).
